X5crni18-10 alloy is an austenitic chromium-nickel alloy. This alloy is the most used of all stainless steels and is versatile in nature. Our X5crni18-10 has very good resistance to oxidation in intermittent service of up to 870 degree Celsius and in continuous service to 925 degree Celsius. EN 10088-1 Grade X5CrNi18-10 strain-hardened (+C700 X5CrNi18-10 is used in construction trade for decorations in exterior and interior architecture, e.g. roof and wall elements, facings, washing facilities, washbasins, for doors and windows. This material is permitted for load-bearing components. This material may be used as heat resistant steel acc. to DIN EN 10095 :1999-05.
